Hello colleagues,

I'm sorry that I haven't had the chance to meet many of you but hope you're all well during these increasingly difficult days.

Very recently, Memorial University has announced that all classes this fall will be held remotely. Understandable, given the circumstances, and I've begun speaking to my colleagues about what such a move might mean for our courses, which are mainly studio-based in the fine and performing arts. And there have been some genuinely innovative solutions - I'm wondering if you've been faced with similar challenges (again, thinking primarily of studio-based offerings) and what solutions you might be considering.

If you don't mind sharing, I'd be appreciative (and I'm happy to reciprocate). I also realize that you've likely got an extraordinary amount to deal with right now but if, in the coming weeks you can drop me a note, that would be grand.

Thanks for considering this, and really do hope you're all ok.

Todd

Hello everyone. My thanks to those of you who have reached out, I sincerely appreciate it. I have to revise this message though, as Memorial has not officially moved to 'remote learning' for the fall, rather we've been asked to begin considering the implications. Still, if you find yourselves pondering the same question, I'd be more than happy to share our ideas or discuss yours with you. All the very best in these turbulent times.
