Dean of the School of the Arts, Media, Performance and Design at York University in Toronto, Ontario. Previously, Professor of Theater and Performance Studies at Bowdoin College, the University at Buffalo (SUNY), and Colgate University. Research: intersections of media technologies and performance, both historical and in contemporary culture, theatre and film history, modernism and the avant-gardes .
